The Meaning of God Names from Different Religions

There are so many religions in the entire world that can take you very long to establish the numbers. this number sums up all churches, denominations, faith groups, and culture among many. Nevertheless, the entire world population is concentrated with five major religions. They go by names like Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism. they do their things differently according to their beliefs in God. This also has an impact on how they call their god and the meaning on it. They call God in many different names which carry different meaning according to each.

One of the largest communities in this is Christianity. Christians believe in one God who created everything. Their God has reference to several names such as creator, savior, protector, messiah, and father among many others. Their God is true and desires a personal relationship with people who believe in Him. they also refer to Jesus Christ as the one of the God their belief in. It is also inclusive of numerous denominations around it. Jehovah is the other name that can never be forgotten amongst them. They understand and study the Bible as the voice of God to them in their normal activities of life. Their beliefs, teachings, values, and culture revolve around the Bible. just like Christ died and resurrected, they also believe in a life after death.

The other religion is Judaism, which is known to be a Hebrew version of Christianity. It is a common religion among the Jews and Hebrews though their population is not that big many different names. they call their God Yahweh who is the lord. In some other instances they call him Hashem and Elohim among many.

After Judaism there is the Islam religion in whom the Muslim community believes in an almighty God call Allah. They believe that Allah is very mighty and superior to any other being from many different names. They have other names totaling to ninety-nine that refer to the same God. Hindu is the last in this line, and they believe in a spiritual being whom they call Shiva. They illustrate the manifestation of their god with a sign of arrows that point in all directions. They go a step further to demonstrate their gods and goddesses in their rivers, temples, animals, and idols as many other avenues as possible. They believe that Shiva has been allowed to offer guidance to the followers in their life journey. They also use names like Vishnu to mean preserver and Ganapati to mean an obstacle mover in their references. You can never have enough of religion because of these differences and many different names that are evident from one community to another.
