Students at Janey School discuss their human rights tiles

Recently received a super great report from Tonya Gonzalez at DC Office on Human Rights on their recent Peace Tiles effort co-sponsored with the UN Association of the National Capitol Region.

“It went AMAZINGLY well! At the VIP reception we presented the Peace Tiles – which were also acknowledged at the Opening Ceremonies. The Director of the DC Commission on Arts and the Humanities (Gloria Nauden) along with me presented the Tiles. Lars – Gloria is blown away and wants to do it again next year for at least 100-200!”
