Mr. Hard,
Quite a pleasant surprise to see your response at Mr. Torres’Mixedmedia site. I’m very pleased to know you still own two of my early works and consider them among your favorites. As you know, times and places change for everyone. I have moved to Florida and my daughter, Darlene, has continued with her wonderful art in the New York area. I would love to hear from you more often as to your current interest in art: subject matter, style, artistic sensibilities, etc.

Fred, nice to hear that you know Mr Charneco and have been a part of his career. His daughter is also an accomplished artist in wonderfully sculptural paintings. Do you collect now in Vermont?

We own two of Mr. Charneco’s paintings from the early ’80s in New York City, where we understood he was an illustrator at the time. A mountain lion drinks from a rocky pool in one and the other shows a basket of apples at the base of a tree. Both are favorites of ours and they hang in our house. Fred..
